About Kate Durdel, PA-C
Kate Durdel, PA-C grew up in Portland, Oregon. She attended Linfield College where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry. After college, she worked in a Mohs clinic in Portland for two years where she assisted with thousands of surgeries. She then attended Oregon Health & Science University and completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2011. After graduation, Kate relocated to San Francisco and worked as a Physician Assistant in a private dermatology clinic for three years, where she practiced medical and surgical dermatology. She moved to Santa Barbara in 2014 and joined Luminous Dermatology. Kate enjoys all areas of dermatology, especially diagnosing and treating skin cancers.
Kate is licensed by the state of California Physician Assistant Board and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In her free time, Kate enjoys the outdoors and loves to ski, hike, run, surf, and travel.
